Things could be a lot worse than working in Boulder. Every time we go there, it feels like vacation. This is one chill town, and I’m not just talking ’bout the weather. No wonder it’s known as The Happiest City in America. Here are a few of our favorite things to do there…
Hiking Boulder Canyon Trail.
Getting spoiled at St. Julien.
Shopping at Starr’s Clothing.
And Bliss.
And Two Sole Sisters.
Morning coffee at Amante.
Or maybe The Laughing Goat.
Pop into Hotel Boulderado to gaze at the lobby’s stained glass ceiling.
Then lunch at The Med.
Later, cocktails at Salt.
Dinner at Frasca.
And wishing there was time to catch a show at Boulder Theater.
Before falling fast asleep among the fresh air and foothills of the Rockies.

Can’t think of a better reason to play hooky this month than a little scarecrow scouting at Atlanta Botanical Garden. We left our laptops and lattes behind and headed out to see ‘Scarecrows in the Garden.’ Now in its 10th year, the exhibit is open all this month from 10-4. More info here. Great fun!
