THE BEAUTY OF THE SOUTH
Cerakko Farm is a real place — but it’s also an idea, inspired by endearing encounters with farmers, friends, artists and tradesmen whom we’ve met not only all around us but across the southern spectrum. We wanted to find a way to pay tribute to them and bring more notice to their work. The creations featured in our Mercantile speak of country. They’re down-to-earth, honest, beautiful…made by hand by folks who live and work on farms along back roads and in small towns, as well as up-and-coming talent and passionate people who might make their living in the big city today, but who never forgot their rural roots. We seek out artists and artisnal producers to feature limited-edition, small batch items just for you, and occasionally we’ll even offer up a few vintage finds. All of these products showcase the spirit of the South while celebrating the simple pleasures of country living.
100% of the proceeds from Cerakko Farm sales are donated to community non-profits like The Red Barn. Located on the banks of the Little Cahaba River in Leeds, Ala., The Red Barn provides equine therapy to disadvantaged and disabled children and wounded military veterans.
