We recently got back from an epic fall getaway exploring coastal Maine. Now we’re trying to hatch a plan to get there more often…or perhaps one day live there part of the year. Well, we can dream, can’t we? 🙂

This site is a place for feel-good stories and moments. And nothing made us feel better last night than seeing Aretha Franklin bring down the house singing Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” on Letterman. Lady Soul KILLED it – and created a “fever pitch” all her own in the landmark Ed Sullivan Theater.

relishing the ordinary
Today is National Read A Book Day, so here’s a great little read – For Some, Tis a Gift to be Simple – about the joys of getting lost in a library and the happiness that can come not only from great adventures, but from everyday ordinariness, too.
