Here’s a weekend idea: the new John Muir exhibit at Atlanta History Center, which features many of the naturalist’s insights as he trekked 1,000 miles across southern parts of the United States. Muir’s words expressing his deeply personal and life-lasting passion for nature and the environment continue to create awe and inpiration for modern times, even if only about simple things, like “all the flowers on a day’s walk.” The botanical exhibit runs through Dec. 4.
