This blog is meant for happy things. But sometimes, despite our best efforts, we just don’t feel all that cheery, right? So when that kinda day sneaks up on you, get yourself a Dammit Doll — then whack something hard (preferably not your kids) and feel better!
Available at local stores and at Paper-Source.
throw(waaaaay)back thursday 1946
The best #tbt we can possibly think of for today: Stopped by to visit our 73-year-old neighbor Patsy, and she showed us a photograph taken on Mother’s Day 1946 of her and her sisters playing in the Tallasahatchee Creek at the back of our property. It’s such a wonderful picture and we were absolutely delighted she shared it!
one fine day
An incredible gift from an incredible friend — a farm photo shoot! Not only did the photographer capture some wonderful moments that day, but we also made new friends, Hali & Micah, whose talents we’re excited to share with you here.

Blending historical and contemporary, and often drawing from patterns within primitive cultures, Q. Miller Jewelry makes Western-inspired jewelry that looks good everywhere. Take a look at their website to see what piece might fit your personality, or visit them if you’re ever in Montana. (And if you do, please say hello to Marcia for us!).
