How I spent today’s lunch hour: Chasing two of our chickens – Dottie & Maizie – around a friend’s barnyard in flip-flops for 20 minutes so we can bring them back to our place for the summer.

We do this post every year, but for us at least, it never gets old. After weeks of wet pastures and unpredictable rain, it’s finally time to make some hay!
