Mike’s To-Do List…Part 3
Get pasture soil tested.
Figure out what kind of grass to plant for winter and spring.
Buy bright orange hunting vests so we don’t get shot walking the property.
Start building and repairing fencing.
Cut firewood.
Shop for Adrian’s “guy wish list”: used pool table, foosball table, basketball goal, futon for game room, pellet guns, BB guns and targets. Oh yeah, and an ATV (right).
Ride your bike to our farm
If you hop on the Silver Comet Trail in ATL and go west to hook up with the Chief Ladiga Trail in Alabama, you’ll be almost at our farm’s door in about 85 miles. Who’s up for a bike ride? http://epic.jsu.edu/clt/
Lapses
A friend just told me she checks this blog every day. Yikes! That’s a lot of pressure for a blogger newbie. So for those of you who are kind enough to check in often, please forgive any lapses in posts. It probably means that A.) We’re workin’ really hard and just too busy to write; or, B.) I’m feeling rather uninspired at the moment. And isn’t it funny how sometimes A and B can often go together? Anyway, both these phases usually pass so please don’t go away. 🙂
