Michelle’s horse Libbie (“Liberty Bell”), a 4-year-old Belgian-Thoroughbred cross, moved in today for the summer and everyone was so happy to see her!

One of the sweetest things we experience each summer is watching friends get over their fear of horses…or seeing that pure look of happiness on someone’s face when they take their very first ride. The latter happened just this week. Go Kim & Rodeo!

How I spent today’s lunch hour: Chasing two of our chickens – Dottie & Maizie – around a friend’s barnyard in flip-flops for 20 minutes so we can bring them back to our place for the summer.
