NOURISHING THE BODY AS WELL AS THE SOUL…
Dana Blair creates herbal teas that are as inspired as her surroundings. Located in the heart of Taos, New Mexico atop a high desert mesa that lies at the foot of the stunning, snow-capped Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Dana’s burgeoning tea company, tea.o.graphy, was born in this ethereal state, yet her roots are unmistakably southern. She grew up on a horse farm in Georgia and later spread her wings to travel around the world where she became fascinated by teas and the different tea customs in different societies across the globe – from “cuppas” in Australia, to teahouses in China and Southeast Asia, to yerba mate gourds and “bombilla” straws in South America. She later settled in the American West where she apprenticed to a master tea blender at Santa Fe’s famous Teahouse. “I’m inspired by the magic, mystery and universal ceremony of making and pouring tea. No other beverage has such a place in the heart and ritual of every civilization. With each cup, one can find the hidden gift of serenity – and each cup has the power to nourish the body as well as the soul.” As her tea company grows, Dana hopes to expand her travels even further to seek out the most precious, sustainably produced teas and herbs in various countries while getting to know and work with each farmer personally. Each tea.o.graphy tea blend is hand crafted in New Mexico, with a special focus on organic and fair trade ingredients. Learn more at teo-o-graphy.com.
