You might say Barkley Wike began his career at the back end of a horse. As an accomplished farrier servicing some of the largest horse show barns in the Southeast, Barkley later turned his talents into artistry when he founded B.W. Iron Designs. Located in Dawsonville, Ga., at the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, Barkley creates custom wrought iron designs for commercial and residential clients and his work can be found in elegant homes and barns around the U.S. (He also happens to be a sought-after guard dog trainer.)
